SUMMARY:Science/Arts in the Parks
DESCRIPTION:Weber State University’s Arts in the Parks is a free arts outreach program that offers opportunities for children to explore visual and performing arts through hands-on activities. The program travels to multiple different Ogden city parks for one week at a time each summer. \nIn addition to the Arts in the Parks programming\, the College of Science hosts Science in the Parks throughout the summer as well. Children can attend both programs to learn about both art and science through activities and projects. \n2026 Schedule: \n– Lorin Farr\, June 1-5 (no activities on Tuesday\, June 2)\n– Monroe Park\, June 8-12\n– West Ogden Park\, June 16-19 (no activities on Monday\, June 15) \nActivities run noon – 1 p.m.
